Congratulations to the following client’s whose projects have been nominated for the 2019 British Independent Film Awards. Nominated for Best Editing is Peter Lambert for THE PERSONAL HISTORY OF DAVID COPPERFIELD, which is also nominated for British Independent Film, Best Supporting Actress and Best Supporting Actor. Nominated for Best Cinematography are: Ari Wegner, ACS for IN FABRIC, and Benjamin Kračun for BEATS. Production Designer Anne Seibel has been nominated in the category of Best Production Design for her work on THE WHITE CROW. Best International Independent Film nominations go to ASH IS PUREST WHITE, directed by Jia Zhang-ke, shot by Eric Gautier, AFC and edited by Matthieu Laclau, and MONOS, directed by Alejandro Landes, shot by Director of Photography Jasper Wolf, NSC, and edited by Yorgos Mavropsaridis, ACE. The Douglas Hickox Award for Debut Director has nominated Director Chiwetel Ejiofor’s THE BOY WHO HARNESSED THE WIND, edited by Valerio Bonelli, which also received a Best Supporting Actor nomination. DIRTY GOD, directed by Sacha Polak and shot by Ruben Impens, SBC’s, has been nominated for Most Promising Newcomer and Best Supporting Actor. Nominated for Best British Short is GOLDFISH, directed by Hector Dockrill and edited by Izabella Curry. The winners will be announced Sunday 1 December.
