LUX is excited to share the following client’s projects which have been nominated for a 2021 BAFTA award: Mikkel E.G. Nielsen has been nominated for his editing on SOUND OF METAL, which also got the nomination of Best Leading Actor. THE DIG landed 5 nominations, including Best Costume Design for Alice Babidge and Outstanding British Film. Director Emerald Fennell’s PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN, shot by Benjamin Kračun, has been nominated for 6 awards, including Best Film and Outstanding British Film. CALM WITH HORSES, lensed by Piers McGrail, received 3 nominations in addition to the Outstanding British Film award. SAINT MAUD, shot by Ben Fordesman and Production Design by Paulina Rzeszowska, got nominated for Outstanding British Film, the EE Rising Star Award and Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer. Also nominated for Outstanding British Film is MOGUL MOWGLI, edited by Adam Biskupski. Nominated for Best Leading Actor is Adarsh Gourav for his role in THE WHITE TIGER, with Production Design by Chad Keith. Nominated for Best Film Not in the English Language is LES MISÉRABLES, lensed by Julien Poupard, AFC. Vanessa Kirby has been nominated for Best Leading Actress on PIECES OF A WOMAN, shot by Benjamin Loeb and cut by Dávid Jancsó. Editor George Cragg‘s latest project COLLECTIVE has been nominated for Best Documentary. The awards will be announced the weekend of 10 and 11 April.
