2021 BFI LONDON FILM FESTIVAL LINE-UP ANNOUNCED

We are pleased to announce that the following projects have been selected for the 2021 BFI London Film Festival. Selected for the Headline Galas are THE POWER OF THE DOG, directed by Jane Campion and shot by Director of Photography Ari Wegner, ACS; Kenneth Branagh’s BELFAST with Hair and Make Up Design by Wakana Yoshihara; BENEDETTA, directed by Paul Verhoeven and cut by Editor Job Ter Burg, ACE, NCE; THE SOUVENIR PART II by Director Joanna Hogg and featuring editing from Helle Le Fevre, and Pablo Larraín’s SPENCER, edited by Sebastián Sepúlveda and Hair and Make Up Design by Wakana Yoshihara. In the Special Presentations category the following films have been selected: GREAT FREEDOM of Director Sebastian Meise and lensed by Director of Photography Crystel Fournier, AFC, and TITANE, directed by Julia Ducournau, shot by Director of Photography Ruben Impens, SBC and cut by Editor Jean-Christophe Bouzy. Selected for the Official Competition is NITRAM, directed by Justin Kurzel with Production and Costume Design by Alice Babidge. Selected for the Documentary Competition is COW, directed by Andrea Arnold and cut by Editors Nicolas Chaudeurge and Jacob Secher Schulsinger. Selected for the Love programme is THE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD by Director Joachim Trier, lensed by Director of Photography Kasper Tuxen and cut by Editor Olivier Bugge Coutté. In the Thrill programme ENCOUNTER, directed by Michael Pearce and lensed by Benjamin Kracun, BSC. Selected for the Create programme is RIPPLES OF LIFE, directed by Wei Shujun and featuring editing from Matthieu Laclau. The festival runs from October 6-17.
