Congratulations to the following projects which have been announced as part of the Cannes Film Festival’s parallel Critics’ Week and Directors’ Fortnight sections. Selected for the Critics’ Week are UNE JEUNE FILLE QUI VA BIEN, directed by Sandrine Kiberlain and edited by François Gédigier and the short SAFE, directed by Ian Barling and lensed by Director of Photography Anna Franquesa Solano, who also shot VENUS BY WATER, directed by Lin Wang and selected for the ACID Cannes Programme. Selected for the Directors’ Fortnight are Joanna Hogg’s THE SOUVENIR PART II, cut by Helle Le Fevre; RIPPLES OF LIFE, directed by Shujun Wei and edited by Matthieu Laclau, and the short THE VANDAL, which is the latest collaboration between Director Eddie Alcazar and Director of Photography Danny Hiele.
