THE PERSONAL HISTORY OF DAVID COPPERFIELD TO OPEN 2019 LONDON FILM FESTIVAL

Armando Iannucci’s much-anticipated feature, THE PERSONAL HISTORY OF DAVID COPPERFIELD, will open the 63rd BFI London Film Festival. Edited by Peter Lambert, this fresh take on the Charles Dickens’ classic novel stars Dev Patel as the titular character and includes Tilda Swinton, Hugh Laurie, Peter Capaldi, Ben Whishaw, Paul Whitehouse and Gwendoline Christie in its line-up. The opening is set for Wednesday 2 October in Leicester Square.
